MEET THE ‘BLOGGER’ – 20 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS!

MEET THE ‘BLOGGER’ – 20 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS!

I have started this blog only a few days ago and I thought it would be fun to answer some questions in order for you to get to know me a little. Who is this Noni person? Where is she from, what does she like, are probably questions you were asking yourself….. So don’t worry, I have now answered some of these very important questions.

These are going to be light-hearted questions and won’t be too serious, cause that ain’t fun.

Get ready to be amazed (haha)

What’s your Favourite Book?

I love reading, some of my favorite genres are murder mysteries, and legal thrillers.
Some of my favorite writers are Karen Slaughter, John Grisham, and Karen Rose.

Another one of my favorites is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

EASY – ANYTHING WITH CHOCOLATE.

What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?

My sister made me eat cat food. That’s pretty embarrassing.
We just talked about this incident last week and she claimed that she doesn’t remember that she made me do that.
I remember it as if it happened yesterday. Trauma.

What are your 3 Favourite TV shows?

1. The Wire
2. Breaking Bad
3. Friends

What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

IMG_9931
Airlie beach in Queensland Australia truly stunning.

I lived a couple of months in Mamallapuram, India. I did an internship for a couple of months in a 5-star hotel. My parents came to visit me and we did a road trip through Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This was absolutely amazing. You can check the post I wrote about it HERE.

Maybe not the prettiest place I have ever been too, but meeting these little Quokkas had to be on the list. They are sooo flipping fluffy and cute, you just wanna pinch their little faces and cuddle them forever.

This is young Noni (Don’t laugh). Here I am at a stunning island in the Maldives, don’t ask me which one, I don’t remember haha. The Maldives is definitely one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been too. If someone is dumb enough to marry me one day, I would definitely go back for a honeymoon.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

That I managed to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree. I have a degree in Tourism and Leisure management from the Saxion Hogeshool in Deventer the Netherlands.
I never thought I was smart enough to actually graduate with one. So when I did I was very proud of myself.

I often still have dreams that they are taking away my diploma. That they have made a mistake and that I didn’t pass after all. The horror lol

Who would you like to live like for a day?

Probably like the queen of the Netherlands, Queen Maxima. I think it would be interesting to see how she lives and how she spends her day.
I think that I am too old to be a fan of anyone, but living her life for a day would be cool. I think.

When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?

Cry lol
And if that doesn’t work I would talk to my friends or go to the beach.

I also love taking pictures, so if I am feeling down I often grab my camera and go for a walk. In Sydney, there are so many amazing sights to see, that I often end up on a pretty beach or near the Sydney harbor taking pictures for a couple of hours.

Using one word, how would you describe your family?

Loving

What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?

This was when it was first released. It was Blair Witch Project. Pooped ma pants (Figuratively speaking)
I was only 13 at that time and probably a bit too young. We watched it at a sleepover. But I remember we didn’t sleep much after that.

If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

1. How can I take care of you better
2. Are you happy
3. If you ever feel sick, how would you let me know?

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Daniel Ricciardo. A lot of people will say, who the flip is that…But I am a sports girl, I love sports so I had to pick a sportsman.
He is funny, charming and good-looking. What else would you want in a man? Nothing…

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

  • New Zealand
  • Japan
  • Vietnam
  • South-Africa
  • The USA, drive route 66
  • Iceland
  • Greenland
  • Egypt
  • Morocco
  • Cappadocia, Turkey

If you could shop for free at one store, which would you choose?

I spend most of my money at the supermarket so I’m guessing I would go for Coles or Woolies. Otherwise maybe Sephora, but not for myself (I don’t wear a lot of make-up) but I would try to make some money and sell some of the free make-up so I can go traveling.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Honestly, I don’t remember.

What’s your favorite day of the week?

Saturday, because its the weekend. I don’t have to work, get to sleep in, go out and about and meet up with friends.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

I googled actresses with brown hair and green eyes, and I guess Zoey Deutch looks a little like me.
So I would go with her.

Would be a pretty boring movie though hahah

What’s the one food you could never bring yourself to eat?

  • Live octopus – NOPE
  • Fugu
  • Cat or dog – NOPE, never
  • Surströmming

What’s your pet peeve?

Loud chewing, or people chewing with their mouths open. YUK please don’t do that.
