A WEEK IN BALI INDONESIA

A WEEK IN BALI INDONESIA

If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, then you must have seen that I was in Bali, Indonesia last week. So this weeks photo diary actually has photos from 7 days of traveling, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying a new culture.

MONDAY

Monday was my travel day. I worked in the morning and I traveled to Sydney airport at 1 PM. My flight was at 16:40 with Jetstar and I arrived in Denpasar at 9:20 pm.

I love reading so I had to buy some books to read. I choose 2 books, Leila’s secret by Kooshyar Karimia and The break by Marian Keyes.

I’m rich. If only.

We followed the sunset for a few hours during the flight. Amazing sky’s throughout.

TUESDAY

The first proper day in Bali was a relaxing day for me. I was very tired from traveling the day before and my aim for this holiday was to de-stress. So it was a chill at the beach day for pretty much most of the day.

My hotel is AMAZING. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Bali then I would recommend Respati Sanur. Amazing gardens, large rooms, clean pool and direct access to the beach.

WEDNESDAY (MY BIRTHDAY)

Since it is my birthday today I decided to take it slow (yep, boring, but I really needed it) So today was another amazing day at the beach and pool.

Since I keep waking up at 7 am (WHY) I had an amazing spot during breakfast. What a view.

Fisherman in Bali

After breakfast, I went for a short wander along the beach, since I was mesmerized by the glistering water.
Every morning the local fisherman go out and try to catch some fish.

The morning was a bit cloudy, but the sun was still out for most of the time.

THURSDAY

I booked my tour to Ubud today and that was pretty much it. The rest I spent at the beach, same as the other days.

FRIDAY

Tour time. I have written an extensive blog post on my private tour to Ubud. But underneath are some pictures.

I visited a temple, saw some waterfalls, went to a tea plantation and (Of course) wandered around in the famous rice fields.

The rest of my time in Bali I spent at the beach and the pool and then being terribly sick with Bali belly – waaaaaaaaaaaa. I know, tough life.
