A MINI-BREAK IN HOBART, TASMANIA

Last week I was on a short mini-break in Tasmania to de-stress, enjoy life and just have a break from my day-to-day working live (managing a hotel is not as easy as most of you will think, its a high-stress job I tell ya). I will be writing lots of cool guides etc about my holiday, but I thought I would share some pictures and a daily guide first. So this post is a sort of photo diary, but then better. (I think)

HOBART TRAVEL GUIDE

Hobart in Tasmania is a hidden little gem. I absolutely fell in love with the cute little city during my mini-break in March this year. The city has the charm of an old harbour town, with lots of historic buildings, a cute harbour and lots of pretty views.  Just a short scoot over Bass Straight and you’re in a magical land that’s so naturally beautiful it takes your breath away. There’s mountains, forests, national parks and rustic oceans for days. In my opinion, this makes Hobart the perfect place to relax from city life or just a great place for a mini getaway. In this post, you will find lots of information on what to do, see and eat when traveling to Hobart, the capital city of Australia’s island state Tasmania.

THE UNIQUE ISLAND OF TASMANIA

Tasmania is just off the coast from Melbourne and has been a bucket list item for me for a long time. This stunning place has some of the most amazing landscapes, food, and beaches that you will ever see in your life! Much to my surprise, it is full of a lot of lush bush area and mountains, incredible blue beaches and lots of funky, hip little shops? I’m not quite sure why, but all this time I thought Tasmania was going to be much like Uluru – brown on brown on brown…. what was I thinking Dol! lol! At this time in life, I am extremely excited as this Saturday I will be flying down under- under(get it?) to Tasmania from Sydney for a 5-day getaway mini break!!! hallelujah! Come at me Tassie! 😉 So in today’s post, I will be sharing a bunch of must-see sights that I hope to see or that you can also look into if you are planning on a trip to Tassie soon. I also have a load of information about this little island listed below in case you are traveling from overseas and need a little help. I hope you enjoy this post! and don’t worry I, of course, will be inundating you all with incredible pics from my trip via Instagram, Twitter and in future blog posts so don’t forget to follow my accounts so that you don’t miss out wink wink!
