THINGS TO DO IN BONDI

Ahh Bondi Beach. If you are Australian or just someone who likes Australia, then you have definitely heard of this world famous beach. The suburb where the beach is located is only 7 kilometers from Sydney CBD and in summers gets run over by tourists and locals. The other day I did the Bondi to Coogee walk. But before I set off I wandered around for a bit. It had been a while since I had been to this famous beach, and I enjoyed it a lot more then I anticipated. ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS, SYDNEY

Last Saturday the weather was absolutely phenomenal. So I decided to go for a wander in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden. The garden is one of my favorite places in this city. Not only has it some of the most spectacular city views, it is also a quiet spot in a busy city.  Just think about the wonderful lush color of the sweeping lawns, dark green canopies and thousands of beautiful flowers. The Botanic Gardens are not just a place to sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views, there is always plenty to do and new things to discover, doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter.   In this post, I will show you some of the best places to go and ‘take you along my trip’ in the gardens.

THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – VIVID SYDNEY

The Vivid light’s festival has kicked off once again in all its glory in Sydney, Australia. For the next three weeks, Vivid will dazzle and amaze over 1.7 million visitors who will flock to one of the world’s most beautiful harbor cities. Each year the light spectacle gets bigger and better and of course this year, well, that is also the case. The theme of this year’s festival is Light, Music, and Ideas. The majority of the installations can be seen in Circular Quay and its surroundings.  In this blog post, I have set up a walking route that you can take so you will see the majority of the light festival from spectacular vantage points… not a problem 😉
