SYDNEY’S ICONIC BUILDING BY NIGHT | THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

Sydney Opera House

Most cities don’t get better after the sun has set, but strangely Sydney does! Especially Circular Quay. With the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House as its main attractions, it truly becomes a spectacle after dark.

Especially the Opera House is a sight to behold after dark. I have written an extensive blog post already on where to see Sydney by night, so make sure to check that one out as well, but today I will take you up close to this Sydney Icon after the sun has set.

A SUMMER HOLIDAY ON LANZAROTE | CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN

Guide to Lanarote

What is better than hopping on a plane and a couple of hours later you end up on a volcanic island with some unique ‘moon-like’ landscape, blissful weather and cool beaches.

This is exactly what I did during a trip to Europe last year.

Lanzarote (Spain) is one of the Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches, and volcanic landscape.  Here is what I did during my holiday there.

A road trip from Sydney to Jervis Bay National Park

Jervis Bay National Park

Jervis Bay National Park is the perfect place for a quick getaway when you need to escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney living. This stunning national park is located about a 3-hour drive from Sydney and offers not only the world’s whites beach but also whale watching and fishing opportunities and lots of Aboriginal heritage.

I hired a groovy campervan from Wicked Travel with my friend and headed off to this national park for a 3-day and 2-night trip.

SYDNEY’S BEST SUNSET SPOT | MRS MACQUARIES CHAIR

where to see the best sunset in Sydney

Sunsets in Sydney are scandalously beautiful! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you would often see me attempting to capture these sunsets from different locations throughout Sydney.

On a warm winters evening I ventured over to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair in the Royal Botanic Gardens to see if Sydney would put on a bedtime show that night, and boy she did.

In this post, I will take you with me to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair in the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney and show you what it was like.

THE ULTIMATE ULURU TOUR | SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS

Ultimate uluru tour

Probably one of the coolest holidays I have been on what was a 3-day 2-night trip to Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and Australia’s most recognizable natural landmarks – Uluru.  I slept underneath a starry night’s sky in a swag, I walked the base route of Ayers Rock and hiked to the Garden of Eden.

It was just one thing after another with its unique and breathtakingly beautiful scenery and that all whilst learning about the Aboriginal culture.

If you are thinking of taking an organized trip but don’t want to spend a fortune, then check out this blog post. I will take you along with my trip and show you what it was like, whether I recommend going on this tour or even at all. (Spoiler alert: This trip is bloody brilliant)  View Post
