A couple of weeks ago I ventured over to Taronga Zoo Wharf for some sunset photography. I am sure you guys must be getting tired of my attempts to take decent pictures, but hold your horses cause here is another one of those posts. This was a very beautiful sunset though that just kept on giving and just got better and better as time went on. So what can you do then just keep taking picture after picture! I ended up with more than 300 pictures of just one silly sunset. I won’t be uploading all of those cause I think my site will crash, but I will be handpicking the best of the best (well, my best, you know what I mean) and take you along a romantic blog post ….
For Christmas Santa gave me some money to spend however I wanted. Since I have been into photography lately I decided to spend that money on a new lens. (I know, I am such a dork, but I like doing it, so leave me alone haha) Since I already have a zoom and a standard lens, I wanted to invest in a lens that is great for astrophotography as well as landscape photography. I was adviced by the internet as well as by people who actually know what they are doing to look into getting a wide-angle lens. After extensive research, I found a lens that was not too extensive and got some great reviews. I bought it and tested it out during the Australia Day long weekend. Underneath are some pictures of Sydney harbor during sunset and after dark with my new fancy pants lens.
